and on this channel, we do techgear and video gear reviews and tips and strategyvideos, just like this one. so if you're new here,consider subscribing. so, you're watching thisvideo to try to figure out how to get paid to do product reviews and doing product reviews on youtube is one of the best ways. you may have seen that a lot of people build their income this way
in all types of different niches, right? whether you do beauty videos, there's all kinds of products there. obviously the tech space, but even people who aredoing home decor, fitness literally product reviewsare relevant for every niche because every niche has products. so, we're gonna talk aboutthe three ways to really start to get paid, specifically on youtube
by making simple product reviews. number one is actually youtube ads. so, in this case, you'renot really getting paid to review the product, you're getting paid becausethe video is getting views. but make no mistake, ifyou pick the right product and it starts to get a lot of views, you could make a lot of money from that. for example, i did a video called,
how to do snapchat with no hands. now, it was more of a tutorial video but it reviewed a bluetoothremote in the video and the video got a lot of views. so far that video has earnedabout $100 here in the u.s. and so that's real money and it's a product review/tutorial but it is actually earning income thus, i'm getting paid.
the second way to getpaid to do product reviews is actually with affiliate marketing. and so, you can reviewanything that you own already and one of my favoritesites for this is amazon.com so if you sign up there forthe amazon associates program, and i'll link up everythingi'm talking about in the description below of this video then you can get your account approved and then you get your own custom link.
so, using that snapchat example video, how to snapchat with no hands, the remote i mentioned in that video i can then put a link in the description and if anybody clicks onthat link and purchases it i get a percentage of that sale. and so, now when you'rereviewing product reviews through affiliate marketing, you could build your income even more.
and actually what's really cool on sites like amazon, is that when someone clicks on that link, you actually get credit for 24 hours on anything they purchase. so, for instance, if they wereto get that bluetooth remote, which is only like 6 bucks we get a little bit of a commission. but then if they were to be doing shopping
for a family member or something and bought them an xbox, you'd get credit for that too. so, this begins to stackand build momentum over time as you post more videos. and then the third way to getpaid to do product reviews, is maybe why you evensearched for this video, like you actually are getting paid to do a product review by the brand.
and so, this could worka couple different ways. there's sites like famebit, which is one of my favorites and i'll link it up inthe description below. and it's a site i use. and what you do is you actuallygo to their marketplace and there's a wholebunch of brands in pets, in fitness, in tech,in lifestyle, in health you know, and you can categorize it down
and then what you can do isapply to work with a brand to actually create avideo where they pay you. and a lot of times itstacks at this point. they're probably gonna sendyou the product for free, you're gonna get paidto produce the video, and then you also coulddo affiliate marketing. so, you can kinda get paid inlike multiple different ways and youtube ads, so that's like four different ways, right?
or sometimes you can actuallywork directly with a company. now my advice here isthat it's so important to build your influence first. you know, work on adding value, work on just putting out great videos, work on reviewing stuff you already have or stuff that you're buying. and then once you have influence, once you have momentum andyour audience is growing,
then these types of dealsstart to come to you and you can even reachout to brands on twitter, just emailing them andstart to work out deals where you actually get paidto review cool products that add value to your audience that are in your niche,that you love yourself and so it becomes super, super cool. so hey, those are the three tips and if you're actually interested
